We had these for dinner tonight! They were so full of flavor! I was hoping for leftovers but my husband loved them so much he finished it all off!
I cooked the steak all day in the crock-pot.
It was very tender and yummy!
Here is what I used:
It was very tender and yummy!
Here is what I used:
- 1 lb boness steak (We bought this steak at Costco and I just cannot for the life of me think of the cut! Round maybe? You can really just use whatever you have.)
- 3/4 cup medium Verde Salsa
- 1/2 cup water (maybe a little over 1/2 cup)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 clove minced garlic
This is what else went into this amazing burrito!
- Chili Verde Steak
- refried beans
- grated cheddar
- tri-colored peppers, cooked until just tender in 1 tbsp oil
- avocado
- sour cream
- flour tortillas
Place all of your ingredients onto your tortilla in which ever order floats your boat!
Wrap it up and Enjoy!

I need me a crock pot. I can see that now. It would make life easier, much easier! I am always soooo hungry at night time when I read blogs I have to resist food. You are not helping me any...OK!
Looks good.
Is salsa verde really spicy, or are there varieties like regular salsa?
I love that this cooks in the crockpot. It looks so good and my hubby would be very happy with this meal.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE crockpot recipes!!!

OMGoodness, these look wonderful! We haven't had fajitas in quite a while. Time to put them back on rotation!!!
Sounds good:) We don't eat beef so will try this with either with chicken or turkey.
Mmmm, meat cooked all day in the crockpot always comes out so tender and full of flavor. I bet these are to die for!
