Visions of cupcakes and cupcake aprons dancing in my head

I was snooping around over at Anthropologie and I spotted this darling apron! Boy, I sure can see myself whipping up some killer cupcakes while wearing this cute little number!

All of this apron talk makes me think of hopping over to The Apron Goddesses. Hmm. I wonder what Julia and Suzi are up to? Let's go take a peek!

No recipe for today. I've been busy helping my son's teacher get their new classroom ready. My arms are so sore from hauling lots of little desks and chairs!



Stay tuned though, there are thoughts of chocolate, orange, and cardamom dancing in my head!

Aprons, Aprons, Everywhere

I know that I promised a Manicotti recipe for today so I may have to double post to keep my word!

The Apron Goddesses is having a fun event today! It called Aprons, Aprons, Everywhere and it's a terrific way for all of the apron addicts in bloggyland to show off their favorites. Hop on over and join the fun!

This is one of my favorite shots. My son is showing off an apron that I made for him recently. He's quite the little chef!

Ever since I found Julia's (and Suzi's) blog my fondness for aprons has grown beyond an infatuation to an all out love affair! I have 7 aprons now in my collection and I would love to make or buy a few more. Can't wait to see all of your aprons!

More Time For Blogging

Now that I have my kids doing all of the housework, I have a lot more time for blogging! Holy Toledo! What a mess! (He better get right on that!) It's not all my fault though, I haven't had a dishwasher in almost 2 months now. If you would like to read that whole story, click here.

The Newest Addition to My Apron Collection!

I wanted to show you all the CUTE apron I found at Goodwill today!



I was in trying to find a table cloth and I happened to spot it! I wish the photo would have come out better though. I don't know what in Bob's name is going on with it! My husband adjusted it at the aquarium and it's been wonky ever since. Anyway, it's handmade and I just love the material, don't you!

Kim Needs

I was over visiting Kathy B's blog,The World According To Me (Which, I must throw in, is one of my favorites!), and she was talking about this thing everyone is doing on Google now. You type in your name and the word "needs" and then hit enter and it gives all of these random sites to go to. I was quite amused! Here are some of the things I ended up with.

1. To take off the gloves
2. Mind her own business
3. A refreshment
4. A new apron
5. More stuff on her mat

I thought number four was especially awesome! I just bought this new apron the other day, thanks to a post I saw over at The Apron Goddesses, (It's from The Time and Again Shop.)but I could always stand to have one more. I am not sure what number five means. I will have to look into it. Anyway, you should try this, it's pretty crazy! :0)

My Favorite Apron
