I'm so glad I didn't have to take any outdoor blog photos today. It was nuts out there! 35-40 mph wind gusts, pelting rain, a dash of hail.... So crazy! I guess we have to do a little making up for our mild winter. Luckily, I made these the day before Easter and the weather was a bit more cooperative that day.
These are a savory muffin and are a little biscuit-like. Not only do they have zucchini and feta, they also have some wonderful lemon zest that brings a nice spring feel to them. I really loved these but my husband complained that everything I made for brunch had lemon in it. I explained to him, ever so lovingly, that it is springtime and lemon tastes like springtime. It makes things taste like sunshine. That silly man, he just doesn't know anything about spring! ;0)

I also wanted to share a couple of flower photos from my yard. I have a gazillion jonquils in my front yard and....
this lone tulip. I don't know how it survived the mole. It must be one. tough. tulip! ;D

These savoury muffins look delicious. I would love to try and make them some day. Thanks for sharing. Love the flowers. Warmer days are coming....yippee!
Yum yum yum!! I'm not a huge fan of sweet muffins but I ADORE savoury muffins - and these look absolutely sublime (and ideal to eat the WHOLE year round). I also add lemon juice to just about everything...
You have taken some really beautiful pictures...and these savoury muffins are right for the spring outing.
Apparently the weather doesn't know anything about spring either.
My dad would have been saying the same thing - he HATES lemon. I don't know what's wrong with him.
These look delicious! A perfect side dish.
Your muffins look and sound delicious, a must try! The flowers are so very pretty and I can't wait until they are out here. Right now we're in the middle of a t-storm do that will help them. Love spring time!
I've never made a savory muffin...these look great!!
I love savory muffins - for every meal. Definitely doing this - with the feta tang - oh yes, very delicious.
Feta cheese in a muffin? Yes please!!

I'm in the mood for savory muffins to go with a pot of soup. I've never added feta to a muffin recipe...this looks delish.
Ah, the photos of the flowers give me hope! Spring will, somehow, come my way!

You're right! lemon is spring! Never thought of it like that...off to buy some lemons and sniff them.
Over from SITS and feeling all Springy.
The recipe is terrific... and I so love seeing everyone's spring photos lately!
Since they have zuccini, they count as a veggie right!

EEEK, that is some weather you had!
Oh those flowers are lovely! And wow so are these muffins! I love the idea of feta in them! How innovative and delicious!
What lovely pictures! The biscuits/muffins look delish! My husband would complain about the same thing...the lemon. I keep hoping that he'll come over to my way of thinking on this one.
These muffins are the best! So much better than eating sweet and sweet and more sweet! I have feta, I usually have some zucchini, let's go!
I love the picture of the tulip, it looks like it simply pops out at you!
This looks like a wonderful savory muffin!
Nice looking muffins...adding feta is a great idea. The flowers look pretty too.
Oh those muffins look scrumptious! And the flowers so gorgeous! You take wonderful pictures
Saw your profile on another page. Glad I read your interesting blog. Look forward to following you here.
Your muffins look and sound over-the-top delicious and your flowers - especially that last photo - are gorgeous. I hope you had a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary
We've had thunderstorms for 3 days now and today it is chilly outside and raining.
Nice to see your photos with a landscape in the background! So pretty!
"It makes things taste like sunshine" - I'm so using that line! My boyfriend claims not to like any lemon desserts, baked goods, etc. These muffins look amazing to me and probably brought a whole lot of sunshine to the awful weather day you described.
The shape is perfection!
These savory muffins sound so good! Excellent flavor combination!
how perfect. i was just thinking about savoury zucchini muffins the other day.
I know I would adore this muffin! I've only had sweet zucchini muffins. I've never even thought to make them savory, but what a great recipe!
Oh yum -- going to put the necessary ingredients on my grocery list.
these sound absolutely fantastic!
