Simple Turkey Verde Chili

This is super easy to make! Even your Chihuahua could do it! Make sure he wears his apron!

This is my mom's little doggy. Isn't he so sweet!!

Only a few ingredients are needed.
  • 1 cup of pinto beans, sorted, rinsed, soaked and cooked until tender.
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup Verde Salsa
Garnish this chili with:
  • shredded jack cheese
  • sour cream
  • avocado
  • diced tomato
  • extra Verde Salsa if you wish
Brown your Turkey and Garlic in a large pan. Add your spices, beans and salsa.
Simmer for 20-25 minutes.
(It might not be pretty but it sure is tasty!)

Top with cheese, sour cream, avocado, tomato and more salsa. Serve with warm tortillas. This is a delicious and easy weekday meal. You can use canned bean to make the job faster.

This looks WONDERFUL. I can tell that this will be popular with the family and me. They'll like the taste and I'll actually be able to pull it off most times :)

I forgot to tell you that the green background is very fresh!

And now I'm leaving... I suppose that's enough running around here for one night!
