Parfait in a Jar and a Little Pickle Poetry

I just ate this a minute ago! Boy, was it great!

I layered the following ingredients into my cute little jar:
  • Plain low-fat yogurt
  • Agave Nectar
  • Granola
  • Trader Joes frozen fruit mix of cherries, blackberries, and blueberries, warmed slightly
Yum!

And now, ahem, for a little pickle poetry!

Pickles
by the ungourmet

The pickle screams of vibrant green!
I open the jar and release a stampede of garlicky goodness.
I take delight in it's bumpy feel.
I hear the CRUNCH of the pickle as I take a big, juicy, drippy bite.

I experience the salty, sour extravaganza of tastes in this most excellent thing called a pickle.

And, no, I am not pregnant!

Your pickle poem is adorable! Is it wrong that it reminds me of my trip to the Smithsonian and the naked babies? And the Lincoln Memorial? Ack.
