Just take a look at what my darling husband made for me today!
We planted two kinds of tomatoes, two kinds of peppers, a little spicy basil and a little cilantro. I am so excited! Isn't it the cutest raised garden you ever did see?
Now it's time for a little poetry!
Little garden, small and frail;
may the sun be a friend by day;
the moon your guard by night;
and little raindrops come to play.
As you grow to be big and strong
and bear much fruit for me.
So juicy and sweet a wonderful treat;
a vision of bounty to see!

Awesome! I'd love to try growing tomatoes and herbs...I may have to point this out to hubby ;)
How sweet is that! And I love your poem. I wish I had a nice spot for a "little" garden. My limited space for one has such hard clay that I would have to totally redo the soil... maybe next year if I am here in this particular place. Love you!
what a charming little garden! about 2 yrs ago my sweet hubby made me a raised bed as well....i miss having it; it was left at our old house. :(
hope you're enjoying your weekend!
I so can not wait for gardening season. I am envious you can start already, your poem is adorable.
Woo Hoo! You won't be disappointed in your crop. Home grown tomatoes are the best ever. In fact I won't buy store tomatoes because they just don't compare.
What a sweet poem! I love it!
Your hubby did a good job! Hope the garden goes well.
Take care my friend!
Have a great week!
love it I have started some herbs with my flowers will post a pic for you, what a great hubby you have lol
It won't be long before you can reap the rewards of your effort.
You are not only a cook and a gardener but a POET as well?!
Your garden is looking great!
There's nothing like a raised garden!
Great poem! Good luck w/ the garden!
I love it! I can't wait to get out there a put some things into the ground! And such a sweet poem :)
Kim!!
I just showed my husband what your husband made for you!! I want the exact same thing. I hope that you don't mind if I copy? Thank you for sharing your garden. Have a great week.
I love your garden. Ours is coming along nicely. Hope you have luck with yours.... loved the poem!
I love this sweet place for your tomatoes. I'm so excited for gardening weather in Colorado. We are warm but still can have frost for 2 more weeks...
I can't wait to plant my garden as soon as we get back from Denver next weekend!
...Kim, I left something for you over at my place, come pick it up when you get a chance :)
love that little garden... its so cute!
This is adorable. No more aching back from bending over to tend to your veggies!
And cilantro!!! I think I love you :)
You lucky girl! I want a garden box. Cute poem.
How fun! I miss gardening a lot. I hope your garden yields you lots of gorgeous veggies!
Kim, did you right click on it? You should be able to right click and then hit "save picture as"...to your computer. Let me know if it doesn't work that way and I'll email it to ya! :D
How cool is that! And a stunning poem! It makes me want a garden!
Your poem is lovely!
I am wanting a raised bed garden too! Now you completely inspired me to do it!
Such a perfect garden (and post) for spring. Thank you!
I'm feeling all springy about myself now.

That's beautiful! (The raised garden bed and the poem!) You are both so talented.
Happy Monday, what's for dinner tonight?
Oooh, does he do house calls? It's so cute! Monsoon and I planted some veggies and herbs today, but Sprinkles (the puppy) can read into the pot and I guess she likes to dig. :( A raised garden - again, it's just so cute!
This is right up my poetry writing, and cooking alley...my home right now is too small for a garden, but I am not giving up!
Thanks for sharing...
