Easy Blackberry Drop Scones


These Scones are quick and easy! We had them for breakfast this morning with a few extra blackberries and, of course, I had to have my cup of java.


Here is what you will need.

  • 2 cups baking mix
  • 1/3 cup half and half
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/3 cup blackberries (or blueberries)
  • pinch of nutmeg (this was an afterthought so it's not in the photo. Sorry!)
In a large bowl mix together you baking mix and sugar, add your half and half and egg. Mix well. Fold in your berries. Drop 6 equal scoops of dough onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve Warm.
