I threw this casserole together for dinner tonight. It was super easy and super tasty!
(Don't ya just love the pop of color the strawberries add? Aren't I just so fancy?! Um. Yeah right!)
Here is what you'll need:
- 2 cups uncooked macaroni
- 1/2 cup grated jack cheese
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 16 oz jar of Fire-Roasted Salsa (Trader Joes has a nice one!)
- 6 oz can of tomato paste
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
~Yum!~
I agree, that is one sorry looking salad! I promise to do better next time!

YUM - my mom is having shoulder surgery this weekend and I'm gathering recipes to plan the next week's worth of dinners for her since I doubt she'll be cooking much. :) I am totally adding this one to the menu!
Oh and I'm so happy you've been enjoying the earrings! That makes my day!
Your recipes always look so yummy!
I saw your comment about Winco. I love Winco. I just wished they sent out sale flyers so I knew about their specials. If they do send them out then I am out of the area because I never get them.
I always have to go in to see what's on sale. Love the store though!
Your food always looks so tasty. I can't wait to have my own kitchen so I can try some of them.
That looks great and sounds fairly economical too. I think this one is a keeper.
This SO looks like something my family would gobble up. I'm going to give it a whirl as soon as we get back from vacation... You should write a cookbook!
And thanks for sending your family to my blog ;) Very kind of you!
I was going to try this next week but ended up making it tonight! It has wonderful flavor! And I already had all the ingredients.
Thanks for all of the compliment everyone! I am having so much fun posting these recipes! It's really giving me incentive to try new things! :0)
