Love is Something Special

This is a song I wrote in 6th grade. After all of these years I still remember the words by heart.

Love is something special
It's like a mother and her child.
Love is like a souvenir
And love is like a smile.

Love is pure and beautiful
And love is sure of God.
He sure had to love us to
Die upon a tree.

And if someday I die
That's really who
I hope to see.
For love is wonderful.
