Spring has definitely sprung here in Oregon! Here are a few more pretty shots from my house. This is a Star Magnolia from our front yard. It's nearly ten feet tall and looks much more like a bush than a tree.
I love this variety, it's so delicate and pretty.
I'm still working on my indoor food photos. I really need one of those lovely light boxes!
Last night we had these yummy burgers. They are jam packed with all sorts of scrumptious stuff like bacon, spinach, garlic, olives, mushrooms, feta.... You'll love 'em!

ahhh the flowers are gorgeous! im so ready for spring:)
You have flowers aleady & you're in Oregon? We haven't even seen the first buds down South. Something is definitely not right with this picture!
The burgers sound yummy though. Thanks for sharing another great recipe!
Oh yummy I love burgers!! I am also from the NW and our trees are budding as well:) Awesome right;)
that is a SERIOUS burger. Sounds fantastic. And the pictures? Lovely.
OH...I like the idea of adding spinach to the burger! I would never have thought to do that!
I love Star Magnolias but they are touchy to winter here in Northern IL. We live on acreage now and I can't protect my plants like I did when we lived in the city! You are lucky to have spring come in so beautifully!
Why do I always think that spring comes to Oregon in like July?? So glad you have flowers. We have nubbins. But hopefully not for long!!
On another note, I LOVE my light boxes and use them for almost ALL of my jewelry photos. The lights help too...I just have 3, but they make a huge difference. I like to think my photos look relatively professional.
And that burger looks fab. But I am MOST excited about garlic mayo...like aoli! Yum-O!!! Spring does make me want to fire up the Duke and grill some cow meat!
Wow! Really beautiful flowers! and yummy burger recipe to try:D My boys will so love this!
Spring is right at the corners.....beautiful flower pictures.
The pattie looks very succulent...I am darn sure the burger tastes GOOD!

I am so happy for you that spring has definitely arrived in Oregon and you shared with us. And the burger, well, you just live too far away for me to pop in to share one of those beauties.
Great photos and a wonderful looking Burger, Thanks for the recipe.
Oh my the fabulousness that is this burger. Yum!
I need a light box, too!
The burger looks delicious!
We have yet to get any flowers...but I can't wait!
I can not get over the sharpness of these shots - what a major burger.
That's one great looking burger, Kim. More terrific photos - way to go!
The burger is simply grand... but the flowers... the magnolias.... I'm moving to your neighborhood.
You are probably a week ahead of us weather wise but I am so hoping for real signs of Spring beyond the Robin sightings. One sure sign would be cranking up the BBQ:D
Really nice flower photos. In the spring I always dream of cameras. It's just that I can never settle on which one I should get!
Great burger!
yum! love the garlic mayo!
Thank you for the recipe for the Mayo...:-)
Susan
Awesome burgers, great flavors and I love the Oregano garlic mayo!

I love mixing up tons of stuff into my burgers, it's a good time. Looks fantastic, that garlic mayo must push it over the top.
Beautiful flowers!!!!
Now this is a burger I can definitely sink my teeth into. "the works" works for me. :)
I don't think I've ever had a burger stuffed full of veggies. Sounds super!
The flowers are beautiful and the burger looks delish! Visiting from the Apron Goddess!
That burger looks delicious. Am saving this recipe for the weekend.
Flowers already!!!!
Lots of lovely things going on with this burger! They look awesome! So do your pretty flowers. We still have snow on the ground.
I'm cooking burgers this weekend too!
Your Star Magnolias are stunning, Kim! (And I am so ready for spring! :) ) The burgers look amazing too -- yet another tell-tale sign of spring! ;)
Beautiful flowers...I'm in Alabama...spring has not sprung here yet...Delicious looking burger.
Oh my gosh this is so making me want spring to be here. As I type, we're having our second great rainstorm of the season. I love it. Oregano Garlic Mayo? YUM!!! Why can I not think of stuff like this? You're amazing.
I am in a burger mood...those look mouthwatering.
Spring flowers...I so enjoy all flowers, but the spring ones...well they are just my favorites!
Seriously, how on earth did Oregon get spring before Virginia?
(And is that too far to have one of those burgers delivered?)
The burgers turned out amazing. Loved everything about them, tender and so much flavor. This is a keeper. I'll be making these for friends soon :) Thanks!
