Little Cupcake Chefs

It's just one party after another around here!

Recently we celebrated my niece's 6th birthday with a Cupcake Academy party. We all had such a great time!

First we mixed up the batter.

It was interesting looking back at these photos. The thing that really struck me was just how focused and serious everyone looks. I think they really enjoyed sharing in the task of making the cupcakes and putting their unique touch on their "masterpieces". I was honored to be able to instruct and share in the fun! It is my hope that each child learned a little, felt inspired and had a great time!

Happy Birthday to my Sweet and Oh So Lovely Niece! Aunt Kimmie Loves! ;0)

Kim, what a wonderful, wonderful day this must have been for everyone. Oh my goodness, I was just sooo smiling looking at all those serious, intent faces. Kids LOVE making stuff, whether its cooking, art, or crafts, I think.

Who knows what doors you may have opened for these sweet children.

Well done. Bless you and yours.

What a TOTALLY adorable birthday party!! You are so darn creative! I came here to look over the recipes before going to the grocery store and I don't know how but somehow I missed that apple-blueberry muffin recipe - can't wait to make that!!!! I'm also making those chicken alfredo wraps - yummmmmmmm. ♥

I totally missed this post! How adorable was all of that!
I don't think adults are usually patient enough to teach kids baking and things like that so I just love something like this.
