Another Lovely Little Garden

It was a glorious Saturday here in Oregon! I asked my husband to build me one more raised bed for strawberries and flowers. He agreed to do so in exchange for a golf game on Sunday. I guess that sounds fair. Anyway, I am so excited to have strawberries. Now I will just have to keep my eyes out for those pesky skateboarding slugs.

We also put in some red onions that were a gift from my Dad's wife. Thanks Kathy!

After we were finished with our work in the sun we rewarded ourselves with a Fresh Strawberry Margarita. Yum!

And, for dinner we feasted on some mini double-decker burgers and homemade fries. Thanks for the idea Donna!

It all looks great. The garden, the margarita, the double slider and homemade fries. I believe you really are more gourmet than you let on!

Definitely a fair trade! Your post made me giggle. I've got a picture like that of my hubs planting in the garden this weekend too. Hopefully I'll get around to posting it this week. Aren't hubby's the best!

Pretty soon you'll be able to make them fabulous margaritas with fresh strawberries right from your backyard. That's the best.

That raised garden is just as beautiful as the other! I'm still jealous. :) Sprinkles keeps digging in my flower pots and my beets are all mixed around with my carrots. Good thing they don't look alike.

Where's the recipe for that margarita!?! Never mind - I'll be over a moment. ;)
