We visited the aquarium and saw lots of cool fish and got to check out a very heavy diving suit.
It was a bit windy down by the ocean but that just makes for better seaweed flying, right!
Stay tuned for this yummy and very easy recipe!

While we were off playing, I had Swedish Meatballs cooking away in the crock-pot to have for dinner when we arrived home. There was an accident as we were heading home and we had to turn around and drive 2 hours out of our way to get back. I was worried that the meatballs would be over-cooked, but they turned out great! Thank goodness I turned the crock-pot to low!!

Whenever I think of Oregon I think of the reality show Little People, Big World.
Oh, and my Grandma. She also lives there.
Awesome pictures :)
Yes, I remember reading that verse when I was a teen.
Glad you had fun! The pictures are great, especially him on the sand with the water in the background.

Great pictures! Too bad about the extra driving time. Hope the people in the accident were okay. I love crock pot cooking. It makes it so easy and the meals usually turn out great. Love you!
Oh we were just in Newport a few weeks ago. I miss the Oregon coast soooo much. You are so lucky that you are able to go and you are just a hop skip and a jump away.

Looks like everyone had such a fun time. I adored the picture of your son in the diver's helmet. Hilarious!

I made your Shoo-Fly pie last night. It was a hit!
Thank goodness for the crockpot! I don't think I've ever actually ruined anything that I've put in there.
Looks like a fabulous day. Glad you were able to get out and enjoy it (in spite of the trouble getting home)!
I'm looking forward to diving into your recipes from last week now that we're home :)
