So, we were driving back from Pump It Up yesterday and out of the blue my daughter says, "Mom, no offense, but those moles on your chin look like pimples."
Swell!
Swell!
Speaking of my daughter, this is a photo of her from 1998. See, a love of cooking runs in our family! I used to make get her own breakfast in the morning. You really have to start out right away teaching them to be self sufficient! I hope she washed all of those utensils off before she used them! And does she really need that pizza cutter and potato masher for her oatmeal?
Now for the Brownies!
I invited my good friend Duncan Hines over for brownies and then I ate him! I didn't mean to, he was just so irresistible!
Here what I used for my cheater brownies:
~Mmm! Brownies!~

Kids say the darndest things, don't they! :D Ah, gotta love 'em! And I don't think it's cheating...there are some brownie mixes that I absolutely love! These look awesome and moist and perfect!
What a great way to dress up boxed brownies. These look delicious. Chocolate is my weakness!
I loved the picture of your sous chef standing on her tip-toes. As to the brownies....I'll vote repeatedly for anything that makes life easier.
what a cute pic yum, want one with a cup of tea!
way cute pic of your daughter and waaay delish looking pic of those brownies... looks yummy!!
wow these brownies look gorgeous!!!! Kid looks so adorable!
*Drools*
I MUST have a brownie now.
Mine would just be boring though. I just make them from a box and leave it at that.
I also consume a lot of the batter even though I could potentially get salmonella. Oh well. It would be worth it.
That is just not right, teasing us like that!

Yeah, aren't daughter's fun!
What a little cutie she is!!!! I would let her cook my breakfast any time.
I've got a mole on the side of my face & my sons pointed out the fact that there was "a hair growing out of it like a witch".
Little buggers!
Um, the brownies look yummy!
awesome way to use a brownie mix. Love it, um, may I have one now?
Kim that cracks me up on the pimple story. I love when my 20 year old son says stuff like "aren't you too old to wear your hair in a ponytail?" Just got love them!! The brownies are unbelievable. The photo is also amazing. Have a great weekend.
My son is the same age as your daughter was in the photo-and that's the daily scene in my kitchen!!!
Brownies-my son just learnt to say that and all I hear is-"choco late brooownieees, choco late brooownieees, choco late brooownieees"throughout the day!!!
oh what a cute photo! You should have done Alicia's flashback photo meme yesterday!
And if you were here I would eat them! They look yummy!
Don't you love the things kids say! My daughter told me the other day that my bum was so big! The brownies look amazing, and I will most likely try them and gobble them despite my daughter's comment!
Great to know that my kitchen's appearance like a woebegone garage sale is not unlike other homes in the country. :)
I hate brownies by the way now.... well not really but I would like to be able I say I do.
Well I know you must be good from all the wonderful reads, and then you let your daughter into the kitchen...my son as well started around 4, but did not pick up a pan and spatula till around 6...also girlichef and Donna-FFW, and many other nice people follow you!
I need to go find some chocolate... and quit coming to your blog, you make me hungry.
Blessings,
Kimberly
