Turkey, Bacon and Mushroom Panini

We ate these babies for dinner tonight! They were so tasty I could not stop eating and now I am totally stuffed!

Here is what you will need to make this delightful and scrumptious sandwich.

Here is the recipe:

  • 2 packages of pepper turkey lunch meat
  • 4-5 slices of turkey bacon, cooked crisp
  • 6-8 crimini mushrooms, sliced
  • Several slices of your favorite cheese (we used jack)
  • Italian bread, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil and 1tbsp Balsamic vinegar whisked together

The directions are Easy, Peasy, Lemon-Squeezy! Take a piece of your bread, layer your lunch meat, bacon, cheese and mushrooms and drizzle with some of the Balsamic/olive oil mixture and top with another slice of bread. Grill in a panini press or George Forman Grill. Makes 4-5 sandwiches. Serve with salad and some baked beans. So Tasty!!

Sounds fabulous!! I have a new sweet spot of Turkey bacon. I've never been a fan of regular bacon, but I can't get enough of the turkey! Thanks for the recipe.

Looks fabulous! I think I could replicate with my cast iron skillet and cast iron griddle some way some how.
