a fun summer wine

We just finished seeing Toy Story 3 in 3-D. So fun! Have you seen it yet? Don't miss it! There is an especially funny part of the movie that involves Mr. Potato Head and a tortilla. I'd better not give away too much, I don't want to ruin it for anyone.

Anyway...I was at the store yesterday picking up a few items for dinner and spotted this Pomelo Sauvignon Blanc. I am usually a red girl but I've been trying to branch out a bit and try more whites. I've tried a few Sauvignon Blancs recently and I think this is one of my new favorites.



This wine is out of California. It has the taste and aroma (nose?) of fresh pomelo. I won't even pretend to speak "wine". I will tell you, in my opinion, it has a bright, fresh, lovely flavor and I will most definitely purchase it again.



I found this bottle of Fred Meyer for around ten dollars. Look for it. I think you'll really enjoy it.

One Crazy Wine Label!

I was at the store buying stuff for tonight's dinner (which I will post a little later) and I spotted this wine. I thought it was too funny and I just had to share!
